1958 MODEL XLCH

To feed the hunger for high-performance bikes, the XLCH was introduced in 1958. The XLCH was stripped of all amenities, like lighting and a battery, in an effort to save weight and boost performance. The short exhaust pipes did little to muffle sound, but also bumped up the power delivery.

“Bobbed” fenders both front and rear harkened back to early days of “run what you brung” events at local tracks.

Magneto ignitions were in charge of providing energy to the spark plugs.

Although the XLCH was designed for sport riding, there was suspension at both ends.
